Cornerstone Christian Academy is seeking a 0.5 FTE Kindergarten teacher for the 2025/2026 school year. Cornerstone is located in the hamlet of Kingman, approximately 15 miles north of Camrose and 20 miles southwest of Tofield. Cornerstone delivers the Alberta Program of Studies from a Christian perspective to students from Kindergarten through Grade Twelve. Classroom Assistants

CCA seeks applications for full-time and part-time Classroom Assistants. The full-time positions consist of 6.75 hours per day, generally Monday – Thursday, occasionally a Friday, and will involve working with students in Grades K – 12, emphasizing one-to-one support for students with Severe Needs. These positions will commence Aug 27 or immediately thereafter when suitable candidates are found.

The ideal candidates will be/have:
• A devoted Christ-believer
• An Educational Assistant certificate, and/or experience working as an Educational Assistant
• Training and/or experience in working with students with special needs is an asset, i.e. FASD, ASD, LD, ADHD, ODD, and/or DCD
• Ability to work independently and as a team with classroom teachers under the supervision of school administrator
• Experience in assisting with the implementation of Individual Program Plans
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
• Experience with assistive technologies
• Computer skills; i.e. Google, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Read & Write
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Confidence and patience
• Open-minded and willing to learn
• CPR/First Aid
• Non Violent Crisis intervention training would be an asset
