Kindergarten Supply List

1 Water bottle

2 Large glue sticks

2 Pencil boxes (1 is for storing extra supplies)

6 Pencils

3 Triangular Pencils

1 1-inch binder

1 Exercise book 1/2 plain 1/2 interlined (cover is green)

1 White vinyl eraser

1 Pack of 24 pencil crayons (sharpened and individually labeled)

1 box of Kleenex

1 Pair running shoes for in class (“inside” shoes) that are easy to take on and off

1 A change of clothes to be left at the school (in a labeled large Zip-lock bag is best)

1 Small “Rest Time” blanket, labeled

1 Package of clear sheet protectors. (Check at the Dollar-Store – need 26 sheets)

1 Cardboard or plastic magazine holder (Check at the Dollar-Store or Dollar-Tree)

1 Small pack of white or colored card-stock as a donation for the class if possible

Please label all things (this includes change of clothes and each individual pencil crayon)

Helpful things for your child to know before entering Kindergarten:
1. How to hold a pencil
2. How to use scissors
3. How to print his/her first name
4. How to count to 10
5. How to put on and remove his/her own shoes                               6. How to zip up a coat

2 Non-coiled primary 1/2 plain 1/2 interlined exercise books (cover is green)

2 Non-coiled primary dotted interlined exercise books (cover is blue)

2 White erasers

24 #2HB lead pencils, plain orange colour (They should have no designs or characters)

1 – 24 pack pencil crayons

3 triangular primary pencils

1 – 12 pack regular size markers (no scented or gimmicky markers)

4 Large glue sticks

1 Pair of non-marking gym runners for indoor use

1 Box of Kleenex tissues

1 Box of extra large, heavy duty freezer bags (33cm x 39.6cm)

1 Extra outfit with pants, shirt, underwear & socks.

Please l abel all the items. It is also a good idea to label any hoodies, jackets, sweaters, and winter wear, as clothing is often left at the school.
